Special Events

Across the year we host a few special events. To be the first to be informed of these follow our social accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

Arrivals

Arrivals are welcome from 2 pm.
The last check-in time is 7 pm.

Departures

Departures before 11 am.

 

Awnings

We don't charge for awnings, all we ask is that they are erected on the hardstanding in order to preserve the grass for year-round enjoyment. No Gazebos allowed.

 

Day Visitors

We welcome day visitors to your pitch for a small fee of £2.00 per person

 

Late Departure

Why not make the most of your departure day, if your pitch is available for the remainder of the day, we charge £2.00 per hour after 11 am up to 6 pm.
 

Site Rules

We want you to enjoy your stay here at Cartref, so it's essential to understand the type of site we operate. We don't want you to be disappointed.

- We have a no noise after 23:00 policy

- We do not allow ball games or bikes onsite

- We do not allow flags or pennants on the pitches

- Commercial vehicles will be asked to park on the front driveway

Booking Arrangements
At the time of booking, we require a non-refundable deposit, which is either one night's stay or 20% of the booking total whichever is the greater amount, with the balance payable 14 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations and Refunds

We recommend that you have holiday insurance in the event that you may have to cancel your booking.

Cancellation 14+ nights to arrival: We will refund all fees excluding your deposit, subject to a £10 admin fee. We are unable to give refunds or move a booking made through a third-party site. e.g. PitchUp.

Cancellation 1-13 nights to arrival: Sadly at this late stage we will be unable to offer refunds. We recommend that you make a claim against your holiday insurance.

Amending or Moving a Booking
Please note that we are unable to amend or move a booking if made through a 3rd party booking system. e.g. PitchUp

14+ nights to arrival: An admin fee will be charged to amend or move a booking. This can only be done if you have booked via our website/system (Not PitchUp).

1-13 nights to arrival: Unfortunately at this late stage we are unable to move a booking.
 

Caravan and Camping
We have a range of fully serviced caravan and camping pitches. All caravan pitches are hard standing with a small grass area to the side. We have a heated (low season) shower block offering individual showers, toilets, and privacy wash cubicles with plenty of free hot water. We have a small onsite shop at reception for essential items, including homegrown and local produce. Whether in a caravan, motorhome, campervan or tent, stay awhile, relax, and explore.​

Minimum Stays
We operate a 3-night minimum stay policy during bank holiday weekends and for the 24th, 25th and 26th December.
